    Have i struck Gold?

Hello Everyone, Once again Happy New Years

New to the scrapping world, and been dumpster diving these past couple weeks. I recently came across some goodies. Found a box filled with PCB boards and ribbon wires attached to it. I think the ribbon contains some gold but I'm not to sure, maybe someone here could help me determine if its worth keeping.

This is the ribbon i pulled out

    This is the PCB Board

The Mylar does contain some gold plating as well as the white connectors. The box of boards are hard to grade in the box, you might take some different ones out and redo photos. Welcome to the forum how about an introduction.

I would pick one of our buyers and send them those pic's and they'll give you a price. Usually the local yards pay the least but occasionally you'll find one that's halfway fair. Check our buyers price sheets and then you'll have something to go by.

we are not allowed to recommend a particular buyer.but, the buyers here are all legit.

There is one in particular (my favorite) who has a huge number of responses For a reason.

p.s. I believe those are counted as Tel-com and you are in for a nice surprise however I am concerned by the fact it appears the contact pins are not gold plated. Do not sell those to a local scrap yard. I will get back in touch tomorrow.

Again nice score. Are they all the same and what's the weight? On another plus side they have already boxed them up for you. Tape them up and slap a shipping label on them.

I would not be selling this stuff to a scrap yard. Contact a few buyers on the buyers page and decide then on what to do with that stuff.

Depending on what buyer you may have contacted , weekends and the holiday could affect turn around time . I can't speak for all buyers but I wouldn't expect a response untill Monday .
