    Scrapper out of necessity

So I've been a pack rat all my life. I come by it naturally because my dad still has just about every vehicle he's ever owned (as far back as I can remember). And his theory on sheds is when one gets full, you build another. I'm gonna inherit one big scrapping job one day.

Recently I started doing a little cleanup around the house and decided to start piling up the copper. Started with the low hanging fruit. Lots of old power cords and dead electronics laying around. Now I've started getting the itch and have been doing a little more research to see what else I should be scrapping. This forum has been a great resource.

As my name implies, I've worked in the telecom industry all my career. Seen lots of those high grade boards in my time. And enough gold plated connector pins to retire comfortably on.

I look forward to future discussions. I'm about to pop in on the auction thread with one of my local auction sites and my first question.
