Although apparently I did post a poorly executed Simpson's reference a while back, but I honestly do not remember doing that. Perhaps it was my glaucoma medication.
I have been working in the computer industry for over 15 years and running my own shop for 11 years. Long story short, I usually kept old PCs that I came across, either for parts or to refurb, and realized I had 50+ PCs that I no longer had room to store. At the same time, I was in the process of re-wiring the house. Knowing the old copper was worth money, I started researching the scrap business, which in turn lead me to this site. Many thanks to this community which has helped me maximize the value of the material I had accumulated over the years.
I hope I can contribute in some way to the significant computer / e-scrap knowledge base that is already in place here. I also have a knack for acquiring some unusual items, so perhaps I can post some interesting "board porn" if y'all are into that sort of thing.
