Talk to Reconn metals in Calgary. I hear they have a
granulator that will sort aluminum and copper. I haven't seen it in person, though--just on their website. It looks pretty costly because there is so much machinery.
The
granulators that can separate plain insulated wire (without the aluminum armor) are a dime a dozen and you can get any size you want. Google is your friend here. The challenge is to get the Cu and Al separated. That requires more sophisticated technology, although I have seen videos on the 'net where machines were "sort of" doing it.
