    Smile Huge Dumpster Find

Well today i went for a walk about 10 minutes from my place i came across a dumpster sitting on the side of the busy road in front
of a house, so i thought i would go and check it out as i always do when i come across a dumpster, i often look through dumpsters
and take any scrap metal i find.

Well when i looked inside the dumpster i could not believe my eyes there where old copper pipes dumped everywhere there where heaps
of them, i could not believe that anyone would dispose of that amount, usually i only find a couple of small pieces or lengths of copper pipes
inside dumpsters, taps, brass, fittings, and what not.

And there where even some U shaped traps as well, the traps are made of thin light weight copper and there are some brass elbows as well.

I have not weighed all the stuff yet to figure how much it is all worth, which i will be doing once i sort it out and cut it up properly.

I have a question is it worth cutting off all the soldered pieces? If i leave them on that's a 50 cents per kilo drop in price.

Or should i leave them on? Will the extra weight make it still work out to roughly $5.00 a kilo?

What do you guys do when taking in old copper pipes to the scrap yard? Do you cut off the soldered pieces or leave them on?

    Anyhow here are the pictures:
