Hello all,
I am an amateur scrapper, I used to scrap in high school for gas money and always enjoyed dumpster diving and curb finds. Havent scrapped in about 10 years as I went to college and have been working a lot after graduation. I am just now starting to try to get back into it. I want to specialize in Electronic scrap/recycling as it goes hand-in-hand with my career in IT but I love taking apart anything, computers, cellphones, grills, lamps, fans, bikes, you name it! I have recently got my basement set up with a bunch of labeled boxes to neatly organized my metal types, and have already taken a few loads of bulky stuff to a scrap yard. I am going to test out the other few yards in my area too to see if I have a preference or what price and people are like at each.
