    could you bid on this

THIS ITEM REQUIRES the high bidder to provide a copy of their certification, R2 or e-Steward certified, at close of sale, ever run across this condition,

Anybody have the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification

The National Strategy, in a section entitled, "Ensure that the Federal Government Leads by Example," mandates that non-functional FEA be directed to third-party certified refurbishers or recyclers. In support of the National Strategy, GSA requires that Federal agencies only dispose of non-functional electronic equipment using contracts with sales or sales to refurbishers or recyclers certified under an accredited, third-party electronics recycler certification program, or manufacturer take-back programs that utilize refurbishers or recyclers certified under such a certification program

It was /is on the GSA site, searched R2 or e-Steward certified, found this little gem

The average audit man-day cost is about $1300/day, and there will normally be additional administrative and auditor travel costs. If a return visit for the clearance of non-conformance is required, additional fees will be incurred. ,

looks like big money is right,..
