As a buyer, I left feedback as soon as I found the item to be satisfactory. As a seller, I never once asked for it. It's much like the "thanks" button here, there are some who do, there are some who don't. Their stats (in Most cases) fairly well speak for themselves

To add to that, another group of people who always get dinged on their feedback are the people who sell the "penny-annie" stuff for less than $1 but they have $7 to $10 in shipping and handling fees. And this is not a bad thing if the item is something that you would ordinarily buy for $10 in any store. It's just that when people first think that they are getting the deal of a lifetime, they are quickly disappointed. When it's time to check out, they do the math and realize that the shipping costs are 10 times higher than the cost of the item itself and then when the box comes in the mail with a $3.65 USPS priority mail sticker on it, they feel cheated. They feel cheated because they thought that they got one over on the seller even though in the wash, it was a fair deal.
Ebay normally sends an auto reminder a month after purchase is completed, but if I don't see anything after a month I don't ask.
I leave feedback directly after payment, since the seller can't leave the buyer anything but postive I figure might as well get it over with.
Keep all your emails in the event of difficulties or feedback extortion, sometimes you can get it removed if they threaten to neg you just because they can and some do.
That's really good info and something I never thought about before. A couple questions... You obviously need a different email account for the second ebay account, can they all be tied into the same Paypal account though? That's kind of a pain in the ass having to set up two of everything...

Yep i wait for feedback from the buyer so i know everything is all fine? then feedback them.
