Pricing on PBX phone system

Looking for anyone who might know a little more about this phone system. From what I've found online, there's not really a resale market for this particular system. There were a few auctions on evil bay, but none that have recently sold. These should be no less the mid grade boards, I would think, and the system looks to be complete. Just wondering if any of you have broke a similar unit down, and what the yield might be from such an item. Thanks in advance.

I've picked up a few similar. I wish I had purchased all of them but didn't know what to expect. For the boards I got a low telecom price, (a little over 4.00). While it's difficult to see in the picture if your not sure what you are looking at, what you are looking at is rows of these boards.





You can get a rough guess on the board count by counting the white labels. My guess would be about 60-80 lbs - shipping 240-320 in scrap for the boards and a little more for the steel and other misc.

While the whole system doesn't have much of a resale value, the individual cards will. People have these systems and often want to expand their systems. Some will sell, some won't depending on the cards, you have to do your homework. The cards will be redundant in each cabinet. You can keep 1 or two of each card, sell them for 40-50.00 and scrap the rest.

Thanks for the info. There is still 8 days left on this, so who knows what it might go for. I'm maxed out at $100 right now (current bid of $71) If I can grab it for around $100 that will be a nice little profit for the boards and other misc. Gotta start somewhere, and right now its all about starting small and not getting burned, hence the vast research I've been doing on e-scrap.

My first step would be to see if any of the boards are selling on ebay.

I think he stated in his post that he wasn't able to find any that sold recently on e-bay. I was going to say those boards look like tell-com boards.
