    Traffic Signal Light Controllers

    Hi Everyone,

I've found some of these at a local auction. I'm wondering if any of you know about them. I've been trying to find out if the entire casing is metal and not plastic. Some work and some don't. I'm thinking of bidding and scrapping them out, but I want to make sure that they are not just a bunch of plastic. Here is a similar listing on Ebay. from what I can find on ebay, none have ever sold on ebay...just been listed.

Traffic Signal Light Controller Technologies LC8000 NEMA Controller LC8400 | eBay

Thanks for any help you can offer!

    Ken

That looks a little like the cabinet on the code-a-phone I scrapped. That one was cast alum case with SS screws.
If there's no sales on EBay then there might be no demand. But the searches only go back 60 days, I think.

If they are made by "Crouse Hinds" they should be aluminum.

Thanks, guys. I did hear back from a person that has the listing on Ebay. He said they are "metal, but not sure what type." I'll keep an eye on this and if I wind up with them, I'll let you know.

I would think that there is virtually zero end user use for those. Pretty specific item there. I'll bet all of those pins are gold plated though and probably a nice board in there.

I was going to say that the old code-a-phone I scrapped had large gold pins on a brown board. Look the board over well,,,
