Procrastinating: looking at electronics auctions ending tomorrow- any deals?

    All-

I don't have a lot of experience with telecom equipment, but happened upon these items being auctioned off in Manhattan, KS (about an hour down the road from me). Ignoring gas money, are these even remotely worth bidding on?

CISCO Catalyst 4600 switch: next bid is $35
    https://www.purplewave.com/cgi-bin/m...i?131203/C1654

4 HP Procurve switches: next bid is $30
    https://www.purplewave.com/cgi-bin/m...i?131203/C1656

HP Procurve 4101GL switch (one of two): first bid is $10
    https://www.purplewave.com/cgi-bin/m...i?131203/C1658

The auction ends tomorrow, so thankfully I don't have to think about it very long. Assuming telecom boards go for $4.50 a pound, what could I expect to harvest out of these things? Having never opened one I can't picture the boards- maybe 5 to 10 lbs of boards a piece? Less? More?

I'm thinking gas would be about $25, but I might be able to have a buddy pick them up and hold them for me until I had a good reason to visit...

Any thoughts? Should I just go to bed?

    cheers,
    tbg

    Bear-
Thanks for moving my post to a more appropriate location.

I do have a TV, but it's not connected to anything but a CD player- no cable, no Netflix, no internet. I do have a stack of CDs which are awesome... if you're between the ages 6 and 10. We check movies out of the library now and then- other than that it's all youtube stuff...

    cheers,
    tbg

I've got a TV converter box and the only station I've watched for 6 years now is OETA (PBS) I have lately learned a (sort of) local network station signal is usually good but still seldom care what's on it

I'm just not enough up on Telecom or switches to be of any help on your other questions

    You're welcome.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
