I am looking at buying one, so I looked them up on Ritchie Bros.
It looks like one sold for $45,000 in July 2014.
Fast forward to Sept 24, 2014 & the same exact one sold for $65,000.
I'd love to hear the story about how that happened.

It's pretty simple, many items including industrial equipment sold on auction for many reasons are not picked up or the transaction does not go thru, so the item is just reposted and resold on a different auction, I guess this buyer was willing to pay more for the crusher then the last buyer, just one senerio
I had the same thing happen in the last couple months
Sold a snow plow Aug 17th for $162.50 and the person never paid or picked it up

Sold it again on Sept 7th for $162.50 and the person never paid or picked it up

Sold it again on Oct 12th for $670.00 and the person paid and picked it up 2 days later

Best I can figure is supply and demand and getting 2 people in the same crowd that want the same item
I'm in the business, I get it. Somebody for sure made a few $$ on that deal. Just wish I'd been looking sooner.
Could be as simple as the first purchaser used it for a job and then tossed it back into the auction. Probably a few more hours on the clock.
