    Watch the fine print in military auctions....you may have to render them unusable before reselling, although I think this applies more to the bigger brass, like what is shown in Brasscatchers avatar.

    Also, the straight brass stuff will be eyed by the yards, too, as it is easy money for them if they don't have to do any work, other than picking them up. So you may have stiff competition.
