check out crossbid.com they have auctions on line for a certain large retail store plus others. the retail store sell their used fixtures and equipment some are salvage some are still in fair shape.i have bought old fryers electric pallet jacks and more. fryers are large and have stainless on them electric pallet jacks even if they do not work some time have large batteries that scrap well they are all across the U.S. hope this helps

I logged on to see what I could find in my area, immediately bought a fryer for $20.

Is there a way to search / sort by distance?

Only sort I can find is either Soonest to Latest OR Latest to Soonest

Looks like most of the stuff is way south of me >> Texas, Florida and other places far far away
