    What am I missing on auction prices?

    Here's a listing of a completed sale of a government auction.

    https://www.ncstatesurplus.com/ssp/p...action=display

    Here's the same thing which I cut and pasted;

    Item No. Description Amount
    36 One lot of 10 Power Mac G5 computers. Dates of manufacture 2005 and 2006. Some, if not all, may be missing parts such as hard drives, RAM, etc. Offered as is. Condition unknown. 12022000080 $2,222.00
    Total Amount $2,222.00

    After doing a completed search on ebay the best I can see is they sell for about $100 each. But these in the govt auction are missing parts. What am I missing? I bid $6 each they sold for $222.00 each. Mike.

    "Profit begins when you buy NOT when you sell." {quote passed down to me from a wise man}

    Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
