I won a second govt auction

I won a second auction by the state of NC. I did well this time and I guess I could pass on what might have be worth while thoughts.

The pick up location is in a less populated area. The single photo was not good and the description was vague.

I communicated with designated pick up person and told them I was willing to pick up when it was a good time for them. It seems others only want to pick up on Saturdays which does not sit well with them. I told them if they had extra stuff to get rid of I would welcome taking it. They seemed to have some descretion as to what was included in the lot. It all fit in the description as computer componets.

Be prepared to move more than is in the photo. The people I delt with had other jobs to do this was something they do in addition to their normal duties. I think they want it to go as quickly as possible.

I bid as if the lot contained 14 towers, I could only see six in the photo. They State normally groups computer towers into groups of 14, I don't know why.

I could have gone to view it but if I had I would not have included what was at another location also included. In the end I got 44 towers, 10 smallish lcd monitors, and 13 crt monitors.

I have noticed also that most descriptions don't include keyboards and power cords but if you ask they usually will throw in as many as you want. Good buy there miked. If you don't mind what was winning bid?
