Ok so i am looking to expand my car scrapping business.I am going to be buying a 2 car hauler trailer and start buying cars up to 100 miles out can get 2 at a time no problem.
Lets just say i make $100 profit per car so said profit would be $200 then minus fuel from that and Profit would be $150

So my question is would it be worth driving a 200 mile round trip for $150.The once i get the cars break everything down you know the normal stuff just say i have 8 hours in it.
$150/8 is $18.75 per hour which to me doesn't seem bad at all i mean most jobs you dont make that.

Just wanting to here some of you opinions on the subject to see if i am going in the right direction!

Does the 8 hrs include the drive time?

I scrap several autos and notice a few things in your post that I wonder about. First, with a trailer you sometimes have difficulty loading. If the auto has wheels missing and such it can be very time consuming getting it loaded. Second, the numbers as far as how much you would make should be higher. The numbers you are using are the minimum you should make if you just pulled the easy stuff and went straight to the crusher. You can do very well doing what you are wanting to do but do not short yourself, but if those numbers in your post are suitable you should be pleasantly surprised when you start.

CCf i have been doing this for years.Dont matter on loading because i can load any car no problem.Also i pay very high for them to insure me getting them.So if i make $100 per thats fine with me.

With a setup like that it sounds like it will be no problem and being able to haul more is always good in this business.

Can your truck pull a 3 car hauler? Or maybe add a dolly to the back for those trips where you need to get 3. Maybe it's just me but if I am driving 200 miles I want to get as much as I can.

Seems to me like a lot of work for a little money. And a lot of wear a tear on the vehicles, My yard is only 45 mile away, but if I cannot make $200-$300 per car, it's not worth it, I even had a used car lot offer me some of their "junk" trade-in's for $350. each. The yard was paying $260 a ton but I was not sure that I could make $200 profit off each car.

Idaho i am getting a 2 car hauler not a 3 car hauler.My truck will pull the 2 car just fine.

Yeah mechanic it does but the way i see it.Is that is better to have some money coming than none at all.Some cars i will make $200+ on while some might only be say $50-$100 just depends on the buying price.I buy from auctions so the buying price is always decently high on them.

Trade ins for $350 i would buy every car they had that a no brainer there man.
