who buys capacitors or are they worth anything

thanks for all your feed backs everyone on here is so helpful ,if i could i would buy all of you a drink or throw you a good ole southern pig picking for everyone on smf

The question is what capacitors are worth money. Al can style have some Al and sometimes Pb value, silver mica have silver value, monolithic have some Pd and Ag value, Tantalum have some Ta and Ni value. All are different and without knowing what type of capacitor you have its hard to say. the ones I've stated here are the most common ones with the most value and there could still be some rare type used that is worth more for collectors than scrap.
