    CPU Heat Sink

Here is a heat sink from a computer that was recently parted out. I assume the base is aluminum since it is non-magnetic (and looks like cast aluminum). Is there anything magical about these? Aluminum base with bright copper fins, right? Simply drill out to separate?

Just snap the copper fins off throw it to the ground real hard and the copper center core of the base will pop out. The outer edge is alluminnum.
