    The best and fastrst way to get them all off at once is to use a board preheayer or the hot sand bath...takes 20 sec or so but yo just whack the entire board and everything comes off. I posted a video li k in another thread on it. Simple setup...1-2 burner electric portable stove and a metal nlbaking pan with sand...you can do several baords at once. They make the actual board preheater but they want a mint for those.

    No this only true with the SMD (Surface Mounted Device) the other styles have their own colors.

    I use a sharp Flathead screwdriver. Put it on the base of the leg, apply pressure and 'wiggle' it a little. They pop right off. Put your thumb over it so it doesn't get away!

    Eric - I found some black molded "bullet" shaped tantalum capacitors. they are marked "MTAC", is that a manufacturer of tantalum capacitors that you know of? I have been trying to find a data sheet for these and so far nothing.
