id take em in as car batteries
See that "Pb" on the bottom right? That means they're lead-acid batteries, same as car batteries. Most yards buy them and at a decent price. I think I get $0.23/pound for them? Something along those lines. I love bringing in batteries with non-ferrous runs

What Matty said, any lead acid battery goes together. I get most of mine from battery backups and server packs. Server ones are awesome because they have multiple batterys in them a weigh a ton.

Nice, I have about 400 of these and aquire 5-6 a day from work.
If you have 400+ of these call ahead and tell your scrapyard you have $800# of lead acid batteries and see if they can get you a little better price.
yeah they are the same as car batteries just small and pay by the pound
I get 0.25/# at my yard. I just took 108# in yesterday. I use to let them build up, but I don't have the space for them. My largest haul in was 700#. It's always fun watching them pick them up with the forklift off the scale.
My yard pays 27 cents a pound. One of my favorite things to buy at the auction.
I guess I am the lucky one at .34 cents a pound...shred down this week though 135 net ton.
