Any of these have any value? It was one big complete assembly. Have no idea what it came out off. Any value??

Those are starting capacitors - never seen them in a bank before as their usually found in hvac and swamp coolers. Not sure if anyone on here buys them, but they can go for a descent amount on ebay.
I looked on eBay and couldn't find them. Guess I will try again. Thanks.
Just looking at that thing gave me the willies.
That thing could do a very rapid irreversible damage to ones longevity.
Not just a zap but
POW
These are almost as deadly as a 1 farad stereo capacitor or one of those capacitors found in disposable cameras(one or two shocks will defiantly rearrange your anatomy). If I'm not mistaken, these use a different type of catalyst and is the consistency/color of rear end gear oil to handle the voltage and their designed to push the rated current to it's target rapidly, then shuts off. Interesting little things.

Critique?? Wish me luck, lol. Daddy needs a new tow dolly, he he.
Looks good except your shipping - lets say someone bids and it stays at $50. Are you going to be able to ship those? That entire array looks to be heavy and might cost you more then $50 - It'd weigh it out, then go over to the USPS website and see what it'll cost to ship. That should be a good starting point of where your price should be. If you've taken shipping into consideration, just ignore me and carry on ^.^
Those look like capacitors out of a capacitor bank, used in 3 phase power systems to control the power factor. All of those wires would have gone to a bank of contactor switches that would switch portions of the capacitors on/off line as the power factor changed. The contactors would have been controlled by a little computer controller.
The capacitors are useful to others who may require replacements, so ebay is your friend here.
Jon.
if there is anyway you can test them they would go for about $15used in good shape but if the entire thing is there and good that's a good score but a lot of shipping as you would need to break it all down and pack in cases and ship it but if its good I would start it at about $450 with free shipping but at $50 it will sell but may take a few for people to look for it.
even non working I would have capped the ends and dummied the wire leads so it would be safer and sold it as a prop for $100 plus shipping
They look like its from a ups system. I had a few of them a year or 2 ago never sold. I ended up pulling the wires and sending in as shred. They are a pita to strip for the aluminum casing. Very messy. If you have the rest of the system check out the boards mine had a bunch of ta capacitors and gold ic chips. Also the wire connnectors were gold plated
If you don't sell them cut the wires and see if you can get dirty alum price for them...
If i recall correctly some had oil in them and the others when i tore them apart the foil inside was still stuck to the aluminum kinda like a tar.
Well after 2 months of trying to sell as cheap as 5 bucks a pice, bo sell. I guess to the shred they go,
I would still see if they would go as dirty aluminum... a bit better than sheet iron!
By chance would that capacitor bank have come from a large induction furnace.
I have no idea
