MLCC Capacitors FYI

I've collected a few today from various electrical boards.
From left.
White/light grey, Pink/violet, Cream/tan, Greenish, Yellow, Brown, Black/navy

The top two white sizes, I'm not totally sure if they are Capacitors.
Same for the Pink & Cream top ones that have 8 contacts, these were marked as CN on the PCB.

The heights vary considerably expecially for the larger sizes.



I've a feeling that the colours represent different compositions (Silver, Palladium, Platinum).
What I can tell you is the Black/navy ones are easily picked up by a lightly magnetised screwdriver.

I plan to smelt them all separately by colour, so in the future I'll be able to tell you exactly what I get out of them.

I realise it is not worth my while removing all of the tiniest ones (they are tiny!), but this is not for scrapping profit (yet), it is for testing of recycling methods and recovery results. Therefore it is worth my while.

(I'll see if I can get a better picture, was low light)

UPDATE:
White may actually be; EMI Noise Suppression Filter, ESD protection device made of silicon.
Pink and Cream 8 contacts are actually Capacitor Network, 4 capacitors in one, so still good MLCC's
Black/navy are actually; special SMD chip anti-EMI bead ferrites. No wonder they are strongly magnetic!
