Not so much that the plastic is a problem, I can deal with that, it's the tubes. My trash company will take a couple here and there but not the quanity I would produce if I jumped in with both feet. I'm sure there might be other places in Denver that would take them, just need to take the time to research.

Graduation party for the 2nd of 3 kids this weekend so I needed to go to the yard for 2 reasons. First to get the place a little more presentable and second the money from picking up stuff during the spring clean-up is going to pay for the party. So here's how we fared:
Sold on Craigslist:
4 lawnmowers-$135
Webber grill-$15
Portable dog kennel-$15
Turned in to the yard:
#2 tin 3140 lbs@175 ton-$275
Die cast zinc 24@.42lb-$10
#2 copper 12@3.34lb-$40
Yellow brass 37@2.05lb-$76
Alum screen door 31@.57lb-$18
Alum contaminated sheet 32@.44lb-$14
Alum cast 97@.56lb-$54
Stainless 24@.68lb-$16
Stainless breakage 12@.31lb-$4
Batteries 109@.26lb-$28
#2 insulated copper 31@1.37lb-$42
Power supplies 25@.15lb-$4
Elec motors 171@.36lb-$62
Total-$808
Maybe I should have broke some things down further to get more at the yard but it was a matter of "time's up pencils down" gotta gitter dun.
