Where to find bulk cables/wires?

I was agreeing with Gustavus, and at the same time trying to say to the OP
that he will find it hard to find cable in bulk, in skips (dumpsters) and such like,?
Perhaps i didnt explain myself properly, apologies for any mix-up.
