I don't go into regular dumpsters, but construction dumpsters have been a gold mine for me - you bet I go in those. Would have missed out on a HUGE stainless steel double oven sitting at the bottom of one construction dumpster if I hadn't dug around. The excavator guy took it out for me with a backhoe, it was so big.
