Our scrap yard doesn't accept escrap. I'll probably take the boards to ROK Recycling in Millersville, MD which is about 1 hr 15 mins from here. Randy gave me a fair deal on the last load. Not sure where in NJ you are, but GovDeals has 9 Control Panels up for auction in East Brunswick. 19 hours left on the auction, current bid stands at $25. These panels appear to be huge, looks like at least 6ft tall, using the chair in the picture for size estimation. These things have got to be full of goodies. Maybe no telecom boards, but I'm sure there's all kinds of goodies in them. There is a real profit potential with these units. I'd imagine, the steel casings alone on 9 units would bring in good money. You should look into this.

I guess I will give an update on what happened with this lot. It sold today for $65. Too much to me. Anyway, I did consider buying it but I passed. I would have had to at least paid $70 to get it when it was at $45 for me to drive out there on a weekday, and my tow truck is not street legal right now. Nice. Anyway, thanks to aluminer for the lead.

Nice score, the backplanes and boards will do quite well. Ive been getting a regular supply of comtrol pci cards from a local supplier ive been selling for $100-$200 each. Some boards have really good resale value.
