    cpu conversions

I know there is a post or sticky that lists approximately how many cpu's equal a pound of the various cpu brands but now I cannot find the darn thing when I need it. Anyone that can direct me to it.....I have tried so many keyword variations to no avail. Thank you in advance.

That video is not really accurate. Different cpus have different weights. For instance it only take 5-6 pentium pros to equal a pound put it takes like 50 Pentium 3's to equal a pound. There is a good pdf on goldrefiningforum that has approximate weights for cpus

She needs thinner gloves. Heh. Seems she was having issues picking up those cpu's.

Like trying to pick up a push pin with mittens.

Sirscrapalot - Easily amused, but then you all knew this.

I happen to have a list here of some numbers I came up with about 6 months ago.

    Your mileage may vary.

These are just some that I bothered to write down There will still be some variance.

    pinless 21 = 1 pound

    black fiber 16 = 11 oz

pins no heat sinks small 4 = 1/2 oz

pins no heat sinks large 48 = 1 lb

That is all I have. I do have a mess of CPUs again and may go do a weight thing again and will be more specific if I do as well as track more types.

there is a list (granted not sure the accuracy, but it is what it is) here....Weight(gm)

Just add them up and then convert total grams to pounds, or spend a minute or 2 and plug them into excel to get pounds or oz....

An we all have issues...some just have short ones, an others have full on subscriptions..lol. I think I'll save that for a quote!
