Experienced Scrapper
Anybody have any info or thoughts on the Apple Powermac G5? I have a few of them, and I'm looking in to selling them. But in completing my research, I wanted to ask the forum.
Ebay has them selling from $100 and up. Did a search on this site and didn't find anything.
Any thoughts, comments, and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I had a few of these , I ended up trading them for a truckload of other fun stuff . It was a win win and I met a apple fanboy that said call him with anything else I get . Maybe try craigslist , barter or sell . The case is aluminum ,if you go that route . Good luck !

I assumed he meant the large desktops with the handles on the top . Correct me if I'm wrong , it's been known to happen

One of the things I have done in the past with other pc towers(no experience with apple towers), I check on the sold section of ebay for parts from the tower. I have found that selling Mobo's, hard drives, ram, power supplies etc, after having tested them is often good.
It's possible to sell the parts for more money than the whole working tower and with out having to ship the shell shipping costs can be lower as well. I often make my listing with free shipping so shipping does become are real factor. Good luck Mike
