You can (maybe) sell the magnets on eBay.
The discs, still have information on them, so bend them a bit to ruin it, or scratch them. You might be able to sell them too, probably not. Somebody with experience might be able to help.
The boards, YES! They have the most amount of Gold content % of all boards (so I have been told).
Save them up till you have a good box full and sell them to escrap buyers here on SMF.
I think you should grade all of the same sort together, there's many sorts. But I have been told that they do separate them until they have enough to do (1000lbs?) a batch run of the extraction process. Though I am not 100% sure about the separation thing.
Or do they just put them all together and start the extraction process with them mixed.?.
The reader arms have a bit of Gold in them too, so you can sell them all together when you have a box full of them.
The four things on the left are hard drive magnets.
The round things are platters.
We have a buyer for those:

The circuit boards are called hard drive boards or logic boards.
There are many buyers listed for those.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked

witch i do outside, and never in the house.
You need to do some serious reading here on the forum. #1 you will lose about half of any gold you manage to retrieve, doing it outside your neighbors may think your manufacturing some kind of drugs. There's more than gold in those boards to be retrieved that the refiners get but you can't. There's lots more reasons also. Find a good buyer you can trust and stock up to sent them out. Heck, some of the buyers help pay for some of the shipping also.
Also the platters can be wiped with that HD magnet. Keep the 2 halves of the magnet together and there;s a buyer for them and the platters (if their not bent) also. Course the boards are the most desirable. Good Luck,,, Mike
