Did you have Marios company arrange the shipping thru Fedex or did you just drop off at the terminal. The most I've ever paid was around $30. Other than that congrats on the good first load.
I did not actually... I didnt think there would be that much of a difference. I took 4 60lb boxes to fedex and shipped them. The boxes were 20x20x20.

Yards normally don't use ISRI terms to define the material they are buying. It would probably be beneficial to use terms that most people are most familiar with. Yes, 'candy' is a grade of copper, but most are familiar with #1, #2, #3, sheet and bare bright.
Thanks I just read that candy was the term. is #1 the best price? I almost kept the copper as it was so pretty!

For the PowerEdge R715 servers...the reason they are not selling is that no one is buying. I see just a couple sold in the past month out of who knows how many listed. Second thing is your account is new...I for one am less willing to make a purchase from a newer account.

I suggest parting them out. The caddies will sell, hard drives maybe, raid controller...faceplates if you have them, power supplies....etc
Man this feels like a sin lol. It is such a pretty server... from my looks at the sold listing only the RAM is selling which would net me 80 bucks. I will consider parting out the server if it doesnt sell within the week.

Has anyone tried taking refurbished machines to flee markets? I have a bunch of duo cores ready to sell but they are not moving an inch. It would be tower only which I think makes it a harder sell at a flee market...

When I said that the most I had paid was $30. that was for 1 box up against the FedEx weight limit. As long as you don't go above the 60 or 65 weight limit you won't get a surcharge.

I set one (Computer) out at our yard sale one time and put a monitor on it so people could see it up and running and that seemed to sell them.
