questions on memory and gold

I have a few questions on memory and computers.I am looking around for some answers but I haven't found the answer yet, unlucky I guess. I work on computers for a living and have since the 80s. In my workshop I have a lot of old parts. I probably have 25 pounds at least of memory chips for example. Is it better to clip the pins off the memory for the gold and just sale that? I hate to think of boxing this stuff up and paying to ship it.? What else can I sale? I know the aluminum in drives sells and also the cases but what else do people want. I would live to sale some of this junk to move it as I want to clean my shop out.

Nothing else is worth anything. Just put it in a box and send it mt way. I'll take it off your hands and dispose of it properly.

At $14+ per pound, why even consider snipping off the gold? Those little fingers weigh nothing in comparison to the whole stick. JMHO.

You most likely already know more about sorting the material than many of us here do. Take a look in the buyers section and decide who will get what and send it away. Folks post feedback here and we do have a fine collection of buyers that do provide excellent service and honest pricing. You will find it very much worth the time to do some reading.

In the beginning I busted up quite a few of the white ceramic eproms. Clicking on the link provided above^^ just made me very sad.
