Took some copper aluminum heat sinks to the yard for the first time today. The guy in the NF building told me they would go as dirty aluminum because there was not enough copper even though several had the heavy copper bottom. Has anyone else experienced this?

When I took my ticket to the office to get paid I spoke up about it. The owner changed it for me to get the 90 cents a pound versus the 9 cents or whatever amount they pay for dirty. Not sure if the fact that she and I went to school together and rode the same bus had anything to do with that. But that is the main reason that I keep going back to that yard. It is nice to do business with people you know.
