Hard Drive Arm

I had some of them and put in with my cb. It paid .15 cent per lb.

I know that this is a really old thread, but my yard bought these reader arms from hard drives as unclean aluminum/copper radiators on Monday. They told me that they would when I was there last week, so I took in about 9 pounds worth. Sure enough...unclean alum/copper rads at $1.10 a pound. Just an fyi...

Interestingly enough, I was having a PM chat with someone about these today. I know my yard won't want them. I checked on E-bay and there are no sales for them. There are some listings, but they don't sell for any reason at all.

Maybe Mudlucky should start buying them and resell to his yard, over 100% markup.

Interesting! Maybe I should. I'll have to ponder this...and maybe give it a try for at least a buy or two to make sure that it wasn't a fluke! I don't think it was, but I've already learned in this business what you sell something for one week can be categorized the next week...

I break down all my harddrives... why.. keep data out of reach of hand... second.. I've about 50 pounds of the read write mechanism. and I'll just keep saving them.. I 've about 150lbs of platters maybe more.. I'll keep saving them, I've about 40 pounds of harddrive boards, and I'll keep saving them, and as far as the cast al.. when I fill up a 55gallon barrel its time to cash in..

and don't forget the lids some are stainless steel. and some are steel.. so check em.. and oh.. some are al light tho.. but its worth keeping em, I toss them into my sheet al ..

magnets now.. I sell them to a guy on here,, if I only can remember I sent him three boxes of 50 pounds and trust Me the postmaster wasn't very happy OH WELL.. thats why they get the big bucks.. Oh choot..

I know a postmaster on this site,, and I might get it.. LOL.. its All LOVE

Parrothead, I can't even fine a listing for them on ebay other than one at a time as part of a broken down parts harddrive....can you share a link to where you found them? Maybe I just wasn't typing in the right word in the search.
