    1. a good lock
    2. motion sensor lights outside
    3. motion sensor lights inside
    4. a well lit area around your building so they don't have a place to sneak
    5. a "this property protected by x security company" even if it's not
    My neighbor has a big sign that says "if you can read this, your in range. And shows a pic of a big handgun. They get the point.
