    Bounce back day today

After a nice deal for ewaste fell thru on Monday I was heading home from work this morning and picked up three towers and a nice 17in flat screen monitor on the curb. Rained here last night so all of the locals must have stayed in. Then get three hits on some cl ads I have out. A pool removal, and two steel shed removals between this Saturday and next Tuesday. Not the whale I was hoping for but all these jobs add up. Oh and forgot I may have a buyer for 6 iMac all in ones tha got at an auction for $25.00. Listed them for 25 each and guy says he will definetly take them.

Cool! Do you charge for the shed removals? How do you advertise it?

The shed removals I don't charge for as long as they are steel and I usually get a couple of other items from the home owner when I am here. I don't do any wood or vinyl unless they are at least an 8x8 and the price starts at $125 and goes up depending on size. The problem with those is that I have to keep at my house until garbage day when bulk pick up can take it. I also throw the garbage guys $10 bucks when I have one out at he curb because putting one out every other week will draw attention to you, but haven't had a problem yet. As of now cl and lots of flyers at local supermarkets and small merchant stores has been working well so far. Also have been getting a few referrals from people that I have done pick ups or clean outs who tell their friends and family. I always have business cards in my wallet and vehicle as well. As far as the pools go no charge because they are always steel or aluminum. And the plastic uprights on the the side I always tie up and leave behind for the home owner to put to curb, never had a complaint since they understand I can't scrap those and they got the use of their yard back.

Pool heaters would be nice but all the ones I have come across, the owners have paid 2k plus for and they are looking to recoup a good part of that back. Usually can get the pool pumps if they are not replacing with another pool though.

Yeah the same type 3 green and 3 blue. Also have 5 blue keyboards and 2 green ones. Only one green mouse and one generic black one. I had 7 of them but got curious and ripped into one. Small mobo with two processor chips soldered onto the board. Chips are less than 1 inch. Three small memory sticks about 3 inches long. But the interesting thing was that it said made in California USA. Figured that would make it a rare piece to hold onto since nothing, as far as I know, for apple is made here anymore. Unfortunately there is no op system installed but they do power up. If I don't sell these then I have to decide if I want to scrap them or hold them and keep trying.
