Not a big money day , but a fun day

To day I started my day at a large trash container at a home, yesterday the same container I picked up 35 lb AL 75 lb mix ,today only 280 lb mix . The owner was happy cause he will pay less to trash co. due to less weight
Across street I paid $5 for A lawn mower, car battery , brass faucet , some mix & a dryer .I traded that working dryer for a heaver broken front load washer.
Then another home I paid $20 for a working oven, a micro wave , a computer , Pro pain tank with the brass & some mix stuff. I then re sold oven for $ 25 (from same person I traded dryer ) He also gave me a fridge.
I also found 4 tvs some tin coated copper @ 2lb along with wire and some mix
    I love summer time deals

With scrap it comes down to holding item's . For me I am sure if I had a garage on a main used road - along with the continued gift from above to keep finding - I could scrap and sell but then i am sure the state would get involved with rules , regulations & fees.

I used to find good useable working things all the time that I would stockpile for 2 weeks then spend a weekend selling it all in a garage sale at my parents house.

Now I live out in the country, so consignment stores get all my goodies.
