    Scrapping a pop-up camper

Anyone ever scrap one before? We have one that needed some roof work but when I opened it today for the first time in a year, WOW! Moisture has really taken its toll on the inside. It is shot. I already have two trailers, so Im not looking to convert it or completely tear it down. Any recomendations?

Sell it to a scrapper cheap for a scrapping trailer? Advertise it on CraigsList? Make a small trailer for a lawn tractor?

It would make a great trailer for scrapping,no doubt. Itis only a single axle but it has electric brakes. I had it on craigslist to sell as is with a bad roof, but when we opened it up we realized it is just not salvagable. I reposted it as a good donor for a utility trailer, lol.

I scrapped out a mid 90s Coleman pop-up camper awhile back. The sink went in my stainless pile, pulled all the wires, the aluminum off the top portion and made the frame and lower body into a small trailer.

To me it was alot of work for not much gain, but the camper was free so it all came out in the wash.

I got a free pop up two weeks ago. Scrapped the roof and dumped the canvas and wood for $20
We now have added it to the fleet of trailers. It has made lots of money for us already.
Goto the curb side auctions and fill one trailer and come back and hook on to the empty one.
Not much towing cap but the heavy stuff goes in truck and light big bulky stuff goes in trailer.
