Cool How friggin cool is this?

So today I'm out gathering scrap and I come to a load was left out for me I had a call on. Pull up to load up and on top of everything is a pack of leather gloves with ''This is for you'' taped to it. That just made my day, I think I was almost more enamored of that pack of gloves than I was all the scrap I picked up today! Lol!

You will find in live that people are very giving and blessful towards you, as you keep treating them right. Since you probably do this all for free (nothing wrong in that), then this is their small way of saying "thanks". Thanks for treating them right, not making a mess, not coming in the middle of the night and stealing stuff, and being someone that wont rip them off.

As KZBell stated, good things happen to good people. Enjoy your new gloves!

Oh, and there was what I *thought* was a neon colored tie and I couldn't figure out what it was for - maybe to tie on long loads out the back? It felt like it had rice in it in the middle. here, its a type of moisture whicking headband!! For hot days when you are sweating! Those were some really thoughtful items to leave for me and I was just all ''Awwwwww....''

That's awesome. You're right - that generosity is almost even better than the scrap profit alone!

Nice work - I'm sure you're a pretty nice person.

It might actually be one of those things you soak in water and wrap around your neck, girlfriends parents use them alot when out mowing, a moisture wicking headband probably wouldn't have beads in it, be more like the under armor material.

That headband might be one of those that you throw in the freezer, freeze it, then wear it on hot summer days. I can't for the life of me remember the name for them, but I have used a few and I have ALWAYS been thankful to have the use of them. Here in the southeast the summers are brutal. It being 95F with the air so thick with humidity that you could walk on the air ... yeah, VERY thoughtful of your clients.

if you have a number for them or an email address, a quick note to say thank you, will probably go a long way, in their mind.

I have clients that bring us ice water or gatorade while I am working in their yards. So, I understand how it makes you feel like Awwwww. Keep up the good work. Happy Scrappin.

For all of the bad you hear these days, I still find good people every day. Looks like you are finding them too. That is every bit as good as finding good scrap.
There may a million better places to live than Iowa, but none of them are home!

Figured out exactly what the neckband was by accident. I tossed it in the washer and it came out all swelled up like a gel and it was cold!! so I researched and this is what they are. I dont think mine is from Hawaii but the product is the exact same item. Too funny, I was wearing it as a headband like I would a bandana. ROF!!
