Feeling more than blessed with my life!

As I woke up today and looked at the calendar on my cell, I realized that today was the 1st of July. Then it hit me..."wow..in 25 days, I will be 27 years old, and my youngest will be 3 years old on the 30th"

But that isn't even what I found the most awesome. What I found the most awesome is where I am in life. I am soon to be 27, married to my beautiful wife for almost 4 years (Anniversary is July 11th), we have 2 beautiful daughters, 2 successful businesses, a place of our own, etc.

If someone had asked me a few years back where I would be in life at this age, I honestly would have no idea! A few years back I was not in the best place in my life, as I had trusted the wrong kind of people, and led me to a place that I never want to be at again (homeless).

I feel that I am truly blessed to be where I am now, and take it from someone who has a lot of experience in what I am about to say. NEVER TAKE ANYTHING IN LIFE FOR GRANTED, FOR WHEN YOU DO, IS WHEN IT IS LOST!

I have been in that position many times where I have taken things in my life for granted, and when I have, they have been taken away.

Cherish every moment that you have with your loved ones, friends, co workers, anyone and everyone. Cherish everything you personally have, as it can be ripped away at any moment for any countless number of reasons.

Don't mean to go on a long spiel or nothing. Happy July everyone!

Good for you George, being happy, healthy and having a great family with a home to live in is 99% of what I consider succeeding in life. The other 1% is stuff that doesn't really make much of a difference.

That is very true indeed. So many people worry and stress over every little thing in life, and normally it is things that doesn't ever really matter..

I agree 100%, from someone that has been in and out of the hospital 6 times in the last year and 1/2 I now do not sweat the little stuff, life is just too short.

Yeah i know a few people that have had a lot of opportunities to improve their life from crappy situations and let them pass them by.

From your tiny little picture, I always pictured you a little older. Not a bad thing. You are doing great. And you have been on both sides and know that it can all be gone in an instant. Keep that appreciation for what you have and keep some stuff aside for the future and you will keep doing well my friend.

That is a some what recent picture taken a few months ago.

Don't feel bad, I have always been told that I look older than I really am. Mainly because of how I carry myself, present myself towards others, and my goatee from what I am told lol.

Yes, I have been on both sides, and that is the biggest thing that made me realize never to take anything for granted again. I did it once, and it hurt really bad.
