CH I was reading a thread on here about cleaning copper, someone mentioned cleaning burnt copper wire with ketchup. I also know that a mix of lemon juice and salt will do the trick to. Try the ketchup if it doesn't work throw a BBQ rack on it, cook some burgers and you should get a nice smokey ketchup flavor cooked right in.
