I hit a lick with this job

Back in March one of my buddies said that there was some scrap metal on his deer hunting property that we could have. I took my scrapping partner out there to get the junk. We were getting ready to start tearing apart this upside down trailer that used to be a 1960's GMC truck chassis when the neighbor to the property came over and said we were on his property. Apparently I was in the wrong spot using the the ''treasure map'' my buddy gave me. The neighbor was a hard ass at first but then said we could have it plus a 6'' dia 8' long 1/4'' gauge pipe. He also had a 1973 delivery truck - similar to a UPS truck - on his property.

We asked him what he was doing with that and he said nothing and we asked if he would like to get rid of it and he said sure but he wanted a cut of the money. The deal we worked out with him was we would each get a third of the money after our expenses. The box was mainly made of 3/16 guage aluminum. The chassis was made of very thick gauge steel and the motor was a Detroit Diesel, which the property owner helped us load it on to our trailer with his tractor. We also found some copper pipe in it as it was once used by a plumber. It took my partner and I three days and about 20hrs of labor to complete it. After our expenses we each walked with around $300 each and we gave the property owner $250.

I have pics/videos of this job on my business facebook page which is ''J & J Metal Scrapping''. Be sure to check it out, ''Like'' the page and look at the videos/pics of that job and our other jobs that I posted there.
