Well i have a good pick up day

one of my supplies called me up and said he had about 20 PC's for me. Well i took a trip over and his guys were already waiting for me. I went inside to meet with my contact and by the time i came out my car had 22 computers in it. Well since i was already loaded i paid my supplier the $110 and went on my way.

When i stopped at home i started to unpack when i noticed "IBM PC Pentium Pro Inside"

This peaked my interest really fast. So i pulled it aside and opened her up praying that the processor was still their, and it WAS! woo hoo. So i popped off the heat sink and their she was in all her golden glory a pentium pro. Then i noticed another heat sink. I was like no way could it be true. Popped that one off and her sister was right their 2 pentium pro processors in 1 PC!

Well i was doing my happy dance when i saw in my car the rest. 4 more of the same machine!!!

I haven't ripped into them yet and will tomorrow but i have my fingers crossed they are like the first.

Totals for the first machine were
    5 finger cards
    4 sticks of ram
    2 pentium pro processors
    1 dual socket mother board
    2 hard drives
    cd drive
    floppy
    power supply

i estimate at a cool $60 per machine scrap value.

Pentium Pro's were in a lot of old servers, with 4 and more CPUs

Well if they are all $60 scrap machines, that is $1,200. Not a bad return.
