    youngest scrapper I've met yet!

    So yesterday I was at my yard waiting in line and there was a guy and his little boy in in front of me. The boy had to be around 5 I'd say. He had carried a cooking pot in and asked the yard guy if ''this was able to be turned in.'' OMG! That was the cutest thing ever!! The dad let the little boy put the pot on the scale and handed him the money after he was paid for the pot. As they were walking past the little boy said to his dad '' thats pretty good'' and I think he only got like $2.00 for it.

    That is awesome. Every time my 2 daughters go with me to the yard, they are just AMAZED at the BIG crane lifting up things.

    They also like it, because the know afterwards, they get a treat lol

    Yep my 3 year old son is constantly picking up metal when he's with mommy. He calls insulated wire "copper" ...which is true.

    There was one time I took him with me to pick up some AC units from a client, and he stuck his head out the window and yelled "Dad, get that copper!" when he saw some wires hanging off a motor lol.

    This is dificult to put into words, giving your kids easy money with out further educating them how to handle money and plan what to do with it is a big mistake.

    My 2nd cousin oin Vancouver Island paid his way through Univerity to become a CA picking cedar boughs and other wild fauna, he wanted to become an accountant for the Hells Angles.

    The long of it this kid was raised by a single mother, he had no one to teach him it was in his genes.
