Even if they were corperate machines directly off a 3 year lease (purchased new) by the time you get new hard disks, new batteries, legit OS installed, buy some new power bricks, clean them up and fix anything busted there is no room for any profit at all.
A while back somebody on my local CL listed over 100+ laptops for free, you just had to come get them and he had large storage tubs full of misc parts for them. Too bad I was second in line when I emailed back and missed out.
