Craigslist score

Big score today on CL, not only scrap but still valuable.



Emailed someone last night about their oil heating system they wanted removed.
Got a call this morning at 9:00am, saying its mine if i wanted it. Confirmed that everything was disconnected before i agreed to the job.
Loaded up my pump, drums and ramps and set off. Made the 40 min drive(further than i normally go).

Arrived to find a walk out basement, 1/2 a tank of oil and a decent size furnace.

The owner turned out to be a real nice guy. We even talked about how we had both been told to charge for what we were doing.
Guy helped where he could, but he pulled the hose out while the pump was on! Big mistake on his part but i still felt responsible.
Ended my cramming in the tank from the basement, the furnace and 3 drums nearly full of oil Save my family some serious dough

All in all it was a great day.
And all of my craigslist contacts whether buying or selling have turned out to be great people. Goes to show its not all bad out there.
