working 6 days a week, need to unload scrap

so i got a sweet job working 6 days a week at a construction site and theyre letting me keep all the metal.
im currently living at my parents and the only place to put scrap is on the side which is a total ***** to get to and all the time spend loading and unloading would make it not even worth collecting. so the scrap is sitting in my truck till i can unload it.

i usually take the bus to work anyways so having the truck sitting in my driveway isnt a big deal but yeah, the only times the scrapyard is open is when im working, so idk what to do. i would ask my dad to take it but he's old as balls sooo idk. i could ask if i could come in late to work sometime (which i bet they would say ya) but ive already taken HELLA days off for dr's appointments and i dont wanna take advantage of their niceness... and the pay is great

do you think if my dad drove the truck to the scrapyard they could have someone help him unload?

most yards here help or either do it for ya. I went to one east of here awhile back, and a big sign at the entrance said "stay in your vehicle until getting out to be paid". Of course I had to get out to untie my load, but once at the magnet they did it all

Since you're working 6 days a week and getting paid good plus you've taken off a lot of days already, don't ask about coming in late just to make a run to the yard. Make your real job your priority. Hope for rain on the construction site and maybe you can get to go home early enough to make it to the yard.

Why don't you collect a load and try to find a local scrapper to pay you for it?
