At shred price ($0.06)it would be $85,000.
Light steel is about $9 per hundred so that would be $90,000
Would be even higher since your hitting a higher pricing tier.
Born to think, destine to succeed.
Either way, not bad money. At first glance.
Im not too sure the yard could handle 1 million at the same time! And If you did you would make a better price than a few hundred lbs!
If you don't mind me asking, how were you able to get 1,000,000 LBS of Steel?
I would assume this is on Government Liquidators. Those are contracts over a period of time which are bid on a percentage of the metal market price from what you original bid per ton would be. You also have to figure in a 10% buyers premium on that amount also.
This is an example of one auction that is up for bid and how the pricing is calculated: The price per pound will be adjusted every month beginning with the first full month after the start of the contract. The price will be adjusted during the second week of the month. The revised price will be determined by taking the price of AMM No. 2 Bundle Pittsburgh on the first Thursday of the month and dividing it into the AMM No. 2 Bundle Pittsburgh used on the contract start date. The percentage will be applied to the price per pound to arrive at an adjusted price.

Anything to do with government liquidation is a joke. I wouldn't even waste my time.
I'm not buying, just thought the prospect of a million pounds of steel was interesting and yes it was from the govliquid site
I like the site. sometimes you get lucky. i bought 3,000 lbs of printer cables and wire for 1500 total. just had to rent a trailer to getthem it was an easy 1750 bux profit :-)
