Can a trailer/SUV rig scrap as well in the long run as a pickup? Seems to me that if you've got a fairly good sized trailer you'll have more room than a pickup, then when you're done scrapping you just unhitch it and your tow vehicle becomes more fuel efficient. I guess it might depend on the tow vehicle.
What kind of rigs are you guys using, and are you primarily curb shopping with them or doing pick-ups? How well does your current rig work out for you?
