How about this one - A yard manager here told me about the guy who filled copper pipe with molten lead. Didn't figure it out till he was gone. Guy got banned from the yard.

People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

A friend related how he went to his yard on a rainy day expecting it to be easy to get in. He said it was the busiest he had ever seen it. He asked the guy why they were so busy and the answer was "we always get busy when it rains, these guys are here to sell us water".

I do recall someone posting here about taking in wet upholstered office furniture and getting the water premium.

Yup taking in my steel and water today as well. When it rains every afternoon like clockwork you cant miss out. Instead of lead we had people doing concrete and glass inside copper pipes. to say the least nothing can be crimped closed anymore.

I have not been above telling my wife to get out and use the restroom before going back over the scales
